Unfortunately my photos do not do justice to this lovely quality home, which is both beautiful and practical for Portugal. The owner having lived here for many years knew what was best from his years of experience except that he now wants a smaller "garden" to maintain.

The open-plan L-shaped living area has a very special wood firing fireplace both in its bulbous bottle shape which "goes around the corner" as well as the fact that it is the source of the central heating plus the hot water when the solar water system cannot perform at its best on darkish days. The system was designed by the owner and is very simple as well as being completely clean to operate and out of the way.
The kitchen is in light wood and the appliances are to remain (touch pad ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge, oven and microwave). The main enm-suite bedroom which is situated alongside the living area has a "ladies-style" bathroom whilst a second "gents-style" bathroom is located on the other side of the living room next to the other two bedrooms.
Along the front of the house is a long veranda with a views over the gently descending terraces with duckpond at the bottom and the distant view.
Attached to the new house is the renovated old granite ruin which was present. Attaching the two buildings resulted in a weird but wonderful room of which one side is all glass and with a sloping ceiling. The ideal hothouse / plantroom or maybe for the doggies to keep out of mischief when needed.
The old granite building was renovated and upstairs now serves as a storage room with another few fridges and freezers and downstairs is a big secure lock up storeroom and the barbeque!
This building could quite easily be converted into another apartment.
Also belonging to the property are a garage/workshop.
On the land there are, a water tank above the house, which was planned to be converted into a pool. Also another smaller tank below the house holding the grey water and overflowing towards the duck pond which is a pretty site indeed.
